Original Works
This section features works that are unique as far as tooled patterns and colour combinations. As with all our covers they hold either blank or lined paper books. However, the covers presented here are only offered with whatever insert is in them and cannot be ordered with any other style of book. The images will not be replicated. We realize this may be frustrating and for that we apologize, but a one of kind book is just that…
Patterns, colour combinations and stones chosen are the result of a stream of thought that occurs while the piece is being done. Design and dyeing techniques are the result of over 30 years of full time work at learning our craft. Masking techniques for airbrush, knowledge of hand application of acrylic paints as well as direct application of stains and metallic powders combine is each work to lend vivid visual effect.
Each one of a kind work is hallmarked as such and is accompanied by a sheet explaining the techniques used as well as a sheet on care of the leather.

Stock Items
All engravings offered on our site are from original designs by Sunburst and each are individually pressed by hand. Our designs are unique; the result of hundreds of hours of refining and redrawing a movement or feeling.
Our small studio environment ensures that every engraved image leaving our premises is perfect in clarity and textural quality. The knowledge gained from more than 30 years of working at our craft guarantees the proper choice of leathers, attention to detail, and proper finishing.
